How long do beds last?

If you really want to get the best possible night's sleep so you look and feel at your best. The Sleep Council recommends that you start to think about changing your bed after seven years. "A mattress that looks Ok may actually not be , that's the hitch" Even after seven years your bed may look okay but may not be providing the support or comfort you need for a healthy, refreshing night's sleep.

Do I have to turn my mattress?

On better quality mattresses with lots of natural fillings, body indentations are a normal characteristic of a mattress working as intended. Regular turning will help the fillings settle and compact down more evenly. Follow the manufacturers instructions but it's generally a good idea to turn them from end to end and side to side every 2 weeks for the few months, then once a month moving forward. You should still rotate a no turn mattress.

Prices?

Always shop for the best value, not the lowest price. You get what you pay for with beds but if you tell us your budget we can recommend the best possible bed for your price range; making your money go further. We work very hard to provide quality products at the best possible price; we will only recommend products based on your needs. We want your purchase to last many years, our excellent reputation depends on it. If there is a wide difference in price then alarm bells should ring, there will be a reason.

What sort of bed should I choose if I have a bad back?

For a long time it was believed that a hard bed was good for a bad back, however recent research confirms that this is not necessarily the case. A supportive and comfortable mattress is the best option. It doesn't matter what type of construction it is. Please tell us of any medical complaints in the showroom and we can advise on the most appropriate choice of bed or mattress for your needs.
